<h3>Is three playable strikers the best option, or should our third be a dead spot?</h3>
<p>I think there is a lot of value in the third forward spot this season, assuming <strong>Joao Pedro</strong> and<strong> Erling Haaland</strong> are the long-term picks in the other two positions.</p>
<p><strong>Gonzalo Garcia</strong>, <strong>Liam Delap</strong>, <strong>Thierno Barry</strong>, <strong>Dominic Calvert-Lewin</strong> and <strong>Yoane Wissa</strong> all offer excellent value and apart from <strong>Pascal Gross</strong>, I don’t think there are many midfielders who can rival them at their price point.</p>
<p>So I still like the idea of playing with three forwards for now, though dead-ending that spot and instead using that money on a Gross, <strong>Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall</strong> or Bournemouth midfielder is also perfectly viable.</p>

<h3>What should we do with Pedro?</h3>
<p>At the time of writing, the only news about Pedro is that he was not seen in the open training session earlier in the week and has also pulled out of the Brazil squad.</p>
<p>I figured I would give my thoughts in case he is ruled out by Xabi Alonso in his press conference. If he is available, then this can be ignored.</p>
<p>If the indication is that he will be back after the international break, I would not use a transfer in getting him out and then buying him back after.</p>
<p>However, if you are looking to chase the upside, I think I like Calvert-Lewin this week.</p>
<p>Leeds are dominant at home and Crystal Palace have the worst defensive numbers in the league.</p>
<p>Yes, he plays Arsenal next but I think he is still the best long-term forward. Barry would be second on my list, with Wissa in third.</p>
