What happens if you win FPL – is there a cash prize?

What happens if you win FPL? Is there a cash prize?

Apart from the glory of beating millions of fantasy managers across the globe, winning FPL earns the world number one a number of prizes.

There are also prizes for those finishing between runner-up and fifth.

The prizes for each position in 2024/25 are as outlined below but they do not include a cash prize, like some FPL formats. There are also various terms and conditions.

First

• Seven-night break in the UK for two people, including hospitality, at two Premier League matches of the Premier League’s choice
• Visits to a selection of popular tourist attractions in the UK
• Travel (BritRail pass or similar/return flight for winner and guest)
• Seven nights’ hotel accommodation (bed and breakfast)
• Hublot watch
• Premier League Nike match ball
• EA Sports FC game
• Laptop computer or SIM-free smartphone
• Noise-cancelling headphones
• Personalised FPL bundle – rucksack, T-shirt, mug, thermal bottle, stress ball, pen, pad and key ring (items may vary)

Runner-up

• Trip for two to one Premier League match, including travel (as per above)
• Three nights’ accommodation including breakfast and two hospitality match tickets
• Nike match ball
• EA Sports FC game
• Laptop or SIM-free smartphone
• Noise-cancelling headphones
• FPL bundle

Third

The third-place prizes have been boosted by Premier League tickets this season, as well as a laptop or smartphone:

• Trip for two people to one Premier League match, including travel (as per above) and two hospitality match tickets
• Nike match ball
• EA Sports FC game
• Laptop or SIM-free smartphone
• Noise-cancelling headphones
• FPL bundle

Fourth

• Nike match ball
• EA Sports FC game
• Tablet computer
• Noise-cancelling headphones
• FPL bundle

Fifth

• Nike match ball

• Noise-cancelling headphones
• FPL bundle

Monthly and weekly prizes in FPL

There are also weekly and monthly prizes on offer in FPL 2022/23 as follows:

Manager of the Month

• EA Sports FC game
• Laptop or smartphone
• Nike match ball
• Nike jacket
• FPL bundle

There are also prizes for the runner up and the rest of the top 20.

Manager of the Week

• EA Sports FC game
• Nike match ball
• FPL bundle

The official FPL website offers the following caveat in relation to these prizes. It stated: “To be eligible to win a weekly prize, you must have joined the game before the start of the season or a minimum of two clear gameweeks before the one in which you are top of the weekly leaderboard.”

Players who have played a chip (including Bench Boost, Free Hit Triple Captain or Wildcard will not be eligible to win a weekly prize for the gameweek that such a chip has been used.”

Second Chance League

The Premier League ran the Second Chance League for the first time last year, contested over the second half of the season.

This season’s prizes for the winner (with other prizes for the top five) are:

• Bluetooth speaker
• Nike jacket
