Who are the best Nottingham Forest FPL players for the 2026/27 season?

Best Nottingham Forest FPL players: Morgan Gibbs-White (£8.0m)

Gibbs-White was comfortably Forest’s top FPL points scorer last season on 188.

The Englishman was in fact one of the best players in the game, ranking fifth overall and third among midfielders.

That has earned him a price rise up to £8.0m – but he may well justify his price tag.

He scored 15 goals and assisted four, with his expected goals (xG) of 10.84 making him the only Forest player to reach double figures.

No Forest player racked up more big chances (17), shots (83) or efforts on target (32) but four players bettered his creativity from an expected assists (xA) perspective.

Gibbs-White was not on many set-pieces last season but did take one of three penalties. With Elliot Anderson having departed, he is well placed to take spot-kicks alongside Igor Jesus.

The 26-year-old was arguably unfortunate to miss out on a World Cup place for England, however this means he begins the season fresh and with a point to prove.

Gibbs-White is the joint fifth most expensive midfielder in 2026/27, coming in at the same price as Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

The Manchester United duo may be favoured for their opening two fixtures against promoted teams – but don’t rule out considering Gibbs-White too.

Best Nottingham Forest FPL players: Neco Williams (£5.0m)

Williams was Forest’s third highest points scorer last season (128).

He was not prolific, scoring two and assisting three, however he showed plenty of attacking intent.

No defender had more shots (46) or attempts on target (19), while he was among the top five defenders for xA (3.96).

Forest’s main centre-backs will cost FPL managers an extra £0.5m for their defensive contributions potential.

But should Glasner go with a back three, Williams has the potential to make up for it in attacking opportunities from wing-back.

The Welshman has attracted the attention of FPL fans early on, being brought into more than 12% of squads.

Expect this to grow if his manager persists with a back three in pre-season, with many hoping Williams can be Glasner’s Daniel Munoz equivalent.

Best Nottingham Forest FPL players: Igor Jesus (£6.0m)

Jesus had a promising first season in the Midlands, scoring six and assisting six in the league after joining from Botafogo.

The Brazilian, who could be on penalties, offers a cheaper route into the Forest attack than Gibbs-White.

He sits in the £6.0m forwards bracket alongside players including Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Danny Welbeck and Evanilson.

Potentially on penalties – or at least sharing responsibility with Gibbs-White – Jesus could be an appealing differential.

He has home advantage over Calvert-Lewin in Gameweek 1, when the two strikers face each other, and has started pre-season well, scoring three times in their first three friendlies.
