Who are the best Leeds FPL players for the 2026/27 season?

Best Leeds FPL players 2026/27: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£6.0m)

FPL managers had fairly low expectations for Calvert-Lewin when he joined Leeds last summer.

The former Everton striker had disappointed in previous seasons, with injuries too often limiting his minutes.

But he was revitalised at Leeds, making 35 appearances and scoring 14 goals.

The Englishman was key to the Lilywhites avoiding the drop and much of their attacking play was funnelled through him.

He dominated for big chances (33) and had more than double the shots in the box (68) of any other teammate.

On penalties too, Calvert-Lewin closely matched his goals with his expected goals (xG) record of 15.81, suggesting he can replicate his output in 2026/27.

He is among a group of forwards priced at an appealing £6.0m and early Hub AI predictions favour him as the best option in the price bracket.

Best Leeds FPL players 2026/27: Anton Stach (£6.0m)

Injuries limited league newcomer Stach to 29 appearances, but he finished just five points short of Calvert-Lewin’s total.

The German scored five and assisted six and was a real threat from set-pieces, scoring three direct free-kicks. Only Dominik Szoboszlai scored more (four).

The new defensive contributions system also netted him 20 extra points, giving him strong all-round potential and plenty of routes to points.

Stach will set FPL managers back more this season, but his price is still a very attainable £6.0m. He ranks fourth among players at his price point by Hub AI.

Best Leeds FPL players 2026/27: Joe Rodon (£4.5m)

Leeds kept eight clean sheets last season, most of which came after a mid-season switch to a back five.

Daniel Farke’s side have lost Pascal Struijk to Brighton but have replaced him with Tarik Muharemovic, who is anticipated to perform well for defensive contributions based on previous season – although he has been priced higher at £5.0m.

Leeds are also reportedly close to buying James Trafford from Manchester City, which could be huge for Farke’s side.

The Trafford deal should address Leeds’ goalkeeper issues – they reverted to Karl Darlow over summer signing Lucas Perri in the end, but Darlow has departed for Manchester United.

Trafford was priced up as a City goalkeeper and will cost £5.0m – arguably too much for a Leeds defensive option.

Joe Rodon currently looks the most secure for minutes, and is our early third pick. He scored two goals last season and racked up a reasonable 20 defensive contribution points.

Jaka Bijol was a stronger performer in this regard but only featured in 25 league matches.

It’s worth monitoring the Leeds defensive starters in the opening gameweeks to see if a better option emerges.
