Who are the best Bournemouth FPL players for the 2026/27 season?

Best Bournemouth FPL players 2026/27: James Hill (£5.5m)

Marcos Senesi was generally the go-to Bournemouth pick last season, becoming one of the leading earners of defensive contribution points (50).

But now the Argentinian centre-back has joined Spurs, it’s Hill who looks to be the standout.

Hill established himself as a first-team regular midway through the season, going on to make 29 appearances.

He often rivalled – and sometimes surpassed – Senesi’s defensive contribution figures, regularly hitting the target of 10 with an average of 10.41 per 90 minutes.

It’s that reliability for gaining an extra two points per match that has seen his price rise to £5.5m.

There’s a strong argument to consider Adrien Truffert instead at the same price.

The Frenchman contributed one goal and six assists in his first season in the Premier League and averaged 4.34 points per start – just short of Hill’s 4.5.

He also scored 26 defensive contribution points, albeit at a lower rate of 6.75 per 90.

But we marginally prefer Hill’s steady points potential and Hub AI agrees, rating him as the best predicted points scorer in the squad over the first four gameweeks (15.4).

Best Bournemouth FPL players 2026/27: Marcus Tavernier (£6.0m)

Tavernier had his most productive FPL season, smashing through the 100 points mark for the first time (137).

He scored seven goals and assisted four, taking the joint most shots among the Bournemouth squad (70) and leading for attempts on target (24).

The midfielder was a regular set-piece taker, on corners and some free-kicks, and also scored twice from the penalty spot.

Bournemouth’s penalty taker is uncertain now Kroupi is injured.

The Frenchman took their last two, before which Tavernier converted twice from 12 yards.

But for the most part, Justin Kluivert was not involved due to injury – and he’s someone who has been preferred in the past.

A new manager in Marco Rose further complicates the picture but for now, it’s fair to assume Tavernier will at least be in the mix for spot-kicks.

His minutes should be boosted by Kroupi’s absence too, and Hub AI rates him second best among the Cherries’ picks in the early gameweeks.

Best Bournemouth FPL players 2026/27: Alex Scott (£6.0m)

Scott has been subject of transfer speculation this summer, with Manchester United and Chelsea reported to be interested in signing the 22-year-old midfielder.

But for now, Bournemouth appear adamant he is not for sale – and he’s among the best FPL options they have.

Three goals and two assists does not make him the most exciting option in the £6.0m category.

He does however have all-round points potential, earning 32 defensive contribution points last season.

Scott took the second most corners behind Tavernier and the most free-kicks (10).

Hub AI ranks him third among Bournemouth players over the first four gameweeks (14.6) but he’s seventh among all £6.0m midfielders.

Tavernier (sixth) has the edge if you’re looking for a more attacking option in midfield but Scott is not too far behind him.
